O zagueiro Léo Santos voltou a machucar o joelho direito e só jogará novamente pelo Corinthians em 2020. O jogadorsofreu uma fratura no treinamento do último sábado, antes de encarar o Atlético-MG neste domingo. A atividade foi fechada à imprensa, . O Corinthians confirmou que o jogador será submetido a uma cirurgia.

A informação sobre o problema do zagueiro foi divulgado inicialmente pela “Central do Timão”, no Twitter.

Esta é a segunda lesão do atleta no mesmo local este ano. Em abril, quando estava emprestado ao Fluminense, Léo Santos já havia operado o joelho devido a uma tendinite patelar. Ele retornou ao Corinthians para tratar do problema.

O zagueiro já vinha treinando em campo nas últimas semanas em fase final de recuperação e esperando uma chance do retorno à equipe.

Formado na base do Timão, Léo Santos tem 41 jogos e um gol pelo clube. Atualmente, o técnico Fábio Carille conta com os zagueiros Gil, Manoel, Bruno Méndez e João Victor no seu elenco.

أفصح بيب جوارديولا، عن منافسه الأبرز منذ بداية تدريب فريق مانشستر سيتي، قبل مواجهة مانشستر يونايتد، في قمة الجولة ببطولة الدوري الإنجليزي، اليوم الأحد.

وخلال تصريحات صحفية، قال جوارديولا: “عندما أنتهي من تدريب مانشستر سيتي، فإن ليفربول هو المنافس الأكبر لنا، إنهم يجعلوننا نتحدى، أعلى وأعلى”.

وأضاف: “ليفربول ساعدنا في جعلنا فريقًا أفضل في جميع الأقسام، لقد تحدونا كما لم يفعل أي فريق آخر من قبل، في فترتي هنا، وليس مانشستر يونايتد”.

After a change to his delivery stride, Sohag Gazi is confident of his reworked bowling action and believes it might help him spin the ball more as well. He is set to travel to Chennai for an official test on January 24 as he hopes to lift his suspension from bowling in international cricket.”I have worked on my landing foot’s positioning,” Gazi said. “It was a similar problem to that of [Sachithra] Senanayake but as soon as I corrected my footing, the rest was fixed automatically. I am more side-on these days, less chest-on. I can find more turn with this new action.””To be honest, I have forgotten my previous bowling action, despite not making a big change overall. I am satisfied with what I have done, plus I have performed with this new action in the domestic competition. I have taken more than 15 wickets.”Gazi was reported for a suspect action in Bangladesh’s second ODI against West Indies in August last year and was suspended from bowling in October after he was tested in Cardiff.Gazi has been working towards a remedy with Bangladesh spin coach Ruwan Kalpage, under whose supervision he had bowled in the nets during the Zimbabwe series.Gazi then applied what he had learned with the help of Salahuddin, a computer analyst with BCB and had been training to stay in contention for the World Cup, but he was unable to find a place in the preliminary squad nor the final 15 that was picked by the Faruque Ahmed-led selection committee.”I have worked very hard on my action. Kevin Pietersen will not play a part in England’s World Cup campaign but he has been given the opportunity pass judgement on their efforts – as long as Eoin Morgan’s side reach the quarter-finals.Pietersen has been signed up by the BBC as a guest summariser for the knockout stages of the tournament in Australia and New Zealand. He will join the Test Match Special team in March to commentate alongside former England team-mate Graeme Swann, among others.It will not be Pietersen’s first foray into broadcasting. Big PictureIs South Africa’s batting exceptionally good, or is it brittle? Is Sri Lanka’s bowling wily or weak? The first quarter-final features two of the more schizophrenic teams of the tournament. South Africa thrashed West Indies and Ireland, hitting two 400-plus scores on the trot. But they were outplayed by India, and were upset by Pakistan’s pace. Sri Lanka have made 300 with ease four times on the run. However, against Australia and New Zealand, their bowling effectively lost them the match.On the surface, it would appear South Africa possess the greater quality in their side. These teams last played in Sri Lanka last year, and South Africa eased past them then, inspired by major contributions from Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock and AB de Villiers. That 2-1 series win was all the more impressive for having come during Sri Lanka’s hot streak, just after they had beaten England across all formats away from home.Yet it is not as if South Africa far outgun their opponents. At any point in the last two years, Kumar Sangakkara could have been said to be in the “form of his life”, and that’s how South Africa coach Russell Domingo referred to him two days before this match. Beyond him, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Mahela Jayawardene and Lahiru Thirimanne have all struck hundreds in the tournament. And although Lasith Malinga has lost pace in the past nine months, he has been quickly recovering the accuracy and bowling smarts that still make him an outstanding one-day bowler.Sri Lanka will, however, miss Rangana Herath who has not recovered from his finger injury sustained against England*. Angelo Mathews had said he was 50-50 but on the morning of the match he was ruled out. If the SCG turns out a characteristic late-season turner, Herath’s control and guile through the middle overs could have tied down a South Africa middle order that has been severe on mediocre attacks this tournament.Any knockout match South Africa plays will also be shrouded by their history of underachievement at major tournaments. عاد لاعب وسط الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي ريال مدريد، لوكا موردريتش، إلى تدريبات الملكي الجماعية قبل مباراة ريال بيتيس في الجولة السادسة عشر من الدوري الإسباني.
